Here we have a rare 7" square Sterling Silver Salver by Peter L. Krider, Philadelphia
c.1870-1903. The salver is in good to fair condition with age appropriate wear, scratches, the feet are a bit splayed and
therefore
the salver
doesn't
sit flat. The salver is decorated with a foliate repousse border, a chased central decoration and has an Armorial in the center. The salver weighs 309 grams or 9.93 ozt and is beautiful. The salver is marked on the back with
J. E. CALDWELL & CO., STERLING
and
the Peter L. Krider hallmark
.
