    elegant antique French sterling silver round serving dish features a classical ribbed border embellished with leaves. It bears two French “
    Minerve
    Premier
    Titre
    ” hallmarks, indicating the highest quality of French sterling silver (950/1000), used in Paris since 1838. The
    Minerve
    Premier
    Titre
    is the guarantee that the sterling is at least 95% silver. It also bears the maker’s mark consisting of the letters “
    H.&Cie
    ” above a star and surmounted by a rosebud, the mark of
    Hénin
    &
    Cie
    (
    Hénin
    and Company), famous master silversmiths located in the
    rue des Archives
    in the Marais district of Paris beginning in 1896. The tray also bears the series number “
    M30589
