Description
Beautiful and uniquely designed pedestal dish.  The crystal tray has six curved/scalloped edges and a wheat with mini-sunburst design cut into the bottom side.  The base of the tray is made of Sterling Silver and marked "Hawkes Sterling 37 PWTS"  The pwts stands for pennyweight total silver.
T.G. Hawkes & Co operated out of Corning, New York from 1895 to 1964.  They worked with fine crystal and cut glass.  Their pieces were occasionally mounted in Sterling Silver.
Specs
Stands 3 3/4 inches in height and measures 7 1/8 inches across at the widest point.  The base measures 3 3/8 inches in diameter.  37 pennyweights equals 57.5 grams of Sterling Silver.
Condition
Comes in good vintage/antique used condition.  Actual age of the piece is unmarked and unknown.  Some bubbles are seen inside the crystal.  The crystal surface has some minor pits and scratches (largest scratch pictured), no major chips noticed.  The Sterling Silver base has a light tarnish/patina and some light surface scratches consistent with  age.  Some small denting notice on the bottom edge, not noticeable when standing upright.  No cuts, wrinkles, bends or breaks noticed in the silver.  Please see pictures for full condition details and ask any questions before purchasing.
