DOG Irish Red and White Setter Foundation Breed, Rare 1909 French Print

Description

This is a phenomenal antique print that is over 100 years old. It depicts what I believe is the
foundation breed of the modern Irish Red and White Setter dog. The caption on the back reads: "Setter
écossais," which translates to Scottish setter. However, this name now usually relates to the black and tan gordon setter.
This is a rare piece of history for the Irish setter enthusiast!
It is from an extremely RARE and very expensive portfolio of prints produced by a French bicycle and firearms company for their clients in 1909. The illustration is by the artist Mahler.
The print is high quality and single-sided (blank back). It has lovely curved corners and a gray edging around the picture. It has a tissue overlay on which a lengthy text  (in French) describes the breed.
The page is approx. 7.25x11.25 inches and the actual image size (without margins) is approx. 4.5x7.5 inches, plus an inch of the gray edging. PLEASE NOTE this print has some minor staining in the margins..
