Indium Tin Oxide (ITO)
is the dominating transparent conductor used in various applications such as LCDs, solar cells and OLEDs.
Sheet resistance of 10 ohm/square
(low sheet resistance = high conductivity).
Highly conductive ITO allows
better current collection,
as well as better
current distribution for more uniform electrochemical processes
etc.
ITO on glass allows using process temperatures that cannot be employed for ITO on PET.
This LCD grade ITO has transparency of
~85% transmittance
for visible light.
