    Description

Absolutely strange item from the enigmatic big eye doll line from Japanese artist Yukiyo Shoji and was released as part of the Moof "Unaweek" series as a friend to Una. I'm not sure about when this was released. Probably around 2005 or so. Figure is in good condition with minor wear from display and age.
It's a Yeti (abominable snowman)! This figure is a wire base covered in foam and then has hard plastic feet and hands attached to it (photos 9 and 10) and then an overall cloth covering over the foam framework. The wire skeleton makes it poseable. The bottom of the right foot has the moof name stamped into it (photo 8). Yeti-kun does not have an actual head, the way the artist designed this it is just sort of shoulders and body. No face /no eyes. Just body and arms and legs and looks the same back and front. Yeti has a hat with feather in it as shown that sits on top of the body. The blue feather is the original that came with the doll but it's removeable from the hat so you could stick other feathers, flowers, or whatever into the hat to give it personality. The material of the outer exterior is a sort of burlap fabric with chenille strings. It's essentially made of mop. The hat is made of dark brown fake-leather look material with a slot on the side for feather or accessory of choice.
It's just a really bizarre item and rare because it was just so strange but Shoji is an enigmatic artist and I respect the artistic vision that went into this. The size is around 10 inches tall (without hat) and around 10 inches wide as well.
As for condition there are two strings near it's left foot that are unraveling a bit and there are just a few light marks on hands and feet. A little wrinkling to the hat. Figure was mostly just displayed in a doll case with others. I've shown Yeti next to a Blythe doll to help you gauge the size. Blythe doll is shown for size purposes only and not included!
Used collectable figure is second-hand, played with, and sold as-is. Please ask any questions before bidding. I'm not original owner on this and not an expert on Moof / Unaweek items but I can answer to the best of my knowledge.
