Susie Slicker "Sad Eyes" is an 8" jointed vinyl character doll that is "another Fun-World Creation."  She was manufactured circa the 1960's-1970's by a company that may have distributed this line of dolls to various other companies to dress and to sell as their own product.  Susie Slicker is a cutie with her long golden blonde "shag cut" hair and her big soulful amber brown eyes.  She retains her flesh tone facial coloring though her lips and the tip of her nose have lightened.  Susie Slicker wears a black raincoat, a coordinating rain hat, white nylon tights (discolored & stretched at the waist), and black plastic boots.  Susie Slicker appears pretty much UN-played with, though her hair is greasy and may need washing.  The back of her left heel is dented, both heels have lightened, and parts of her body sustain skin tags from the manufacturing process.  Susie Slicker is an appealing "Sad Eyes" doll that echoes the work of artist Margaret Keane and the ever popular Blythe doll!
