    This is an Art Deco era cream colored celluloid 1/2 of a buckle.  The celluloid material is also called Ivorine or French Ivory because it mimics the real thing.  This could be re-purposed into something interesting, maybe a large pendant or a barrette.  The stone in the center is purple/white mottled glass and the center is hand carved into a floral form.  Just missing the other 1/2 of the buckle.
